Nursing Education Perspectives is planning a special issue about Addressing Mental Health in Nursing Education for the September/October 2024 issue. The guest editors are Audrey Marie Beauvais, DNP, MSN, MBA, RN, and Jeffrey S. Jones, DNP, RN, PMHCNS-BC, LNC.

Dr. Beauvais, a member of the NLN Board of Governors, is associate dean and associate professor, Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, Fairfield University. Dr. Jones, a board certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and psychotherapist and ABA approved legal nurse consultant, is president/owner, Jeffrey S. Jones, LLC, Mansfield, Ohio.

We are seeking research in nursing education focused on mental health. Specifically, we are interested in manuscripts that focus on the generation of evidence, evaluation of educational interventions, trends in mental health nursing, and innovative strategies for delivery in academic and clinical settings.

We are also seeking single-site studies for the journal’s Research Briefs section, and innovative pedagogical strategies in the Innovation Center that fit this call.
